Get Back VAL is the genre bending brainchild of vocalist/producer/songwriter Pete Hopkins and lead guitarist extraordinaire Deakon Lekross. Live drums are adeptly smashed by Edoardo Tancredi. GBV's sound can most easily be explained by imagining what it might sound like if Michael Jackson decided to start a rock band in 2018. It's heavily 80's influenced sound and song structure tackle universally felt subjects such as lust or love, addiction and impulse, temptation and redemption.

Get Back VAL identifies as a Los Angeles based rock band but acknowledges that they are more than that.
