Los Angeles-based Manhattan Murder Mystery is an alcohol-powered emotional-nudity machine. They formed in 2008 and have since developed an onstage intensity that's undeniably solid, not to mention totally infectious, rowdy, and engaging. They are a cult favorite in the Silverlake/Echo Park music scene, and if there is any justice in the world their music will one day be known to a much wider audience. In the press they have been called "post-punk" and compared to the Replacements, the Pixies, Arcade Fire, and Nirvana. They've toured all over the country and they are embarking today on a full tour of the U.S.
